Most of the images taken this weekend were shot with a new lens I bought for these events (Sigma 50-150mm f2.8). While reviewing and uploading multiple AAYHA events for this new Website, I was not happy with the technical quality of the images I was getting at this arena. I do not usually use a flash close to the horses - especially during show events - because I am unsure of their reactions. So I sought a 'faster' lens that would allow for brighter images given the lighting conditions. I was generally pleased with the first use of this lens at the events this weekend. If you happen to notice that the colors of the arena dirt, I use two cameras and one seems to saturate the colors more - any printed photos will be color balanced. As always, please feel free to offer comments or suggestions.
OOPS! Looks like I forgot to reset the Camera Time for Daylight Savings - all times are 1 hour later than they should be!
